Job Title: Research and Development (R&D) Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Research and Development (R&D) Manager to lead our innovation and research initiatives. In this role you will oversee the development of new products and technologies manage crossfunctional teams and ensure that projects align with the company’s strategic objectives. You will play a key role in driving our innovation agenda and ensuring that our R&D efforts translate into commercial success. Experience in the healthcare domain is highly preferred especially with medical devices diagnostic equipment and related technologies such as IoTenabled healthcare solutions and wearable devices.

Experience Level:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in R&D with a proven track record of leadership and innovation in relevant industries.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the R&D team in the development of innovative products technologies and solutions.
• Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company’s goals and market needs.
• Manage project timelines budgets and resources to ensure the successful delivery of R&D projects.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing production and sales to bring new products to market.
• Oversee the evaluation of new technologies and their potential application within the company.
• Foster a culture of innovation encouraging team members to explore new ideas and approaches.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Prepare and present reports on R&D activities progress and outcomes to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering Science or Technology.
• Proven experience in R&D management preferably within the technology or healthcare sectors.
• Extensive experience with medical devices and related technologies including:

• • Development of diagnostic equipment and imaging systems.
  • Integration of IoT technologies in healthcare devices for realtime monitoring and data analytics.
  • Creation of wearable devices such as fitness trackers smartwatches or therapeutic devices.
  • Research in sensorbased technologies and device miniaturization.

• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with innovation management and bringing new products to market.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
