The Steward ensures that all kitchen equipment dishware and kitchen areas are well maintained clean and sanitary for both staff and guests.
- Properly maintain and run the dishwashing machine
- Maintain the proper cleanliness of the kitchen coolers freezer cafeteria storerooms and all walls and floors
- Ensure that all food chemicals are stored properly when orders arrive.
- Make sure the line pastry and restaurant have the service ware needed for the day (i.e. proper flatware serving utensils plates and cups)
- Sweep and mop floors when needed
- Remove garbage when needed
- Make sure the kitchen has all dishes silverware and cups for mealtime and maintain the proper par. Along with checking on cleanliness removing replacing dishes and food when needed
- Maintain a good working relationship with staff management and guests.
- Store all items properly at the end of shift labeling and dating all products.
- Ensure a clean neat and organized work area.
- Keep inventory of stock room and freezer/

Must understand the importance of customer service and strong work ethic. Must be reliable motivated and ready to work in a professional environment. This position is for overnight shift 11pm7pm averaging around 30 hours a week.
Must have experience as a steward or similar kitchen helper position.
