Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be friendly devoted curious and have a strong passion for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. We are looking for individuals who are confident that they will become an integral member of a team that values hard work and brings detail and care to every part of their work day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain cleanliness of all BOH work areas including and not limited to refrigeration cooking equipment prep areas and dishwashing area
Participate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas including and not limited to refrigeration cooking equipment prep areas and dishwashing area
Provide clean restaurant wares for front of house and back of house departments
Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas
Maintain a clean safe and organized work space
Report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
Assist with receiving deliveries and rotating stock when needed
Empty and maintain trash bins and dumpster area
Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas tables tools knives and equipment
Work collaboratively with BOH staff and FOH staff
Follow set schedule and give appropriate notification for tardiness and absence
Conform to Department of Health requirements to run an Alevel kitchen
Qualifications :
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic understanding of working in a professional kitchen
Comfortable working in a fast paced and high energy environment
High volume restaurant experience preferred
Able to take constructive criticism learn quickly and constantly improve
Able to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues
Strong time management skills and able to execute dishes consistently and effectively
Full availability (including weekends)
$19.57/hr
