The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping receiving and inventory control to support ASWs operations. This role ensures that all materials and products are accurately processed stored and shipped in accordance with ASW s standards contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Material Management
- Conduct and manage receiving activities to ensure all incoming materials meet purchase order specifications and ASW quality standards.
- Unpack verify and document incoming AV products and materials updating records in Zoho and other systems.
- Identify and manage nonconforming materials maintain appropriate controls and support resolution or disposition.
Shipping and Distribution
- Prepare and package customer and project orders for shipment ensuring completeness and accuracy of required documentation.
- Utilize shipping platforms (e.g. UPS FedEx and trucking lines) to manage outgoing shipments and maintain database integrity including APIbased updates.
- Communicate with the purchasing team project managers (PMs) and COO to coordinate projectbased deliveries.
Inventory Control
- Implement and maintain FIFO inventory management principles.
- Conduct and support cycle counts and physical inventory programs to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Identify and communicate slowmoving or stale inventory to sales and management teams.
Problem Solving and Process Improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing solutions to operational challenges.
- Create track and manage RMAs for nonconforming materials damages and warranty items.
Quality and Safety Compliance
- Complete all required Quality Management System and OSHA training.
- Adhere to established safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Step into facilities and fleet management duties when needed.
- Perform administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills and Attributes
- Detailoriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities to address logistical challenges.
- Proficiency in inventory control systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Selfstarter with proactive communication and collaboration skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds.
- Capable of organizing placing and tracking equipment throughout the warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a related field.
