Job Description
*Key Responsibilities:**
- Design develop and implement robust and scalable applications on the IBM AS/400 platform.
Write and maintain highquality code using RPGLE CLLE SQLRPGLE and other relevant languages.
Monitor troubleshoot and resolve issues with AS/400 applications. Perform regular system maintenance tasks including backup and recovery procedures.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and application designs.
Develop and execute unit integration and system test plans to ensure application functionality and performance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications including technical specifications user guides and process flows.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including IT business and thirdparty vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the AS/400 environment.
Implement best practices for software development deployment and maintenance.
