Responsibilities
- Analyze and diagnose performance issues in Java backend applications.
- Conduct performance testing and benchmarking to identify bottlenecks.
- Implement performance tuning strategies to enhance application efficiency and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor system performance using various tools and metrics providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Develop automated performance testing scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on performance engineering methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Performance Engineer with a focus on Java backend systems.
- Strong understanding of Java programming and objectoriented design principles.
- Experience with performance profiling tools and techniques for Java applications.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter Gatling or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of application optimization techniques including caching database tuning and resource management.
- Ability to analyze system architecture and identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
