Augmentjobs is seeking a highly motivated Summer Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Summer Associate you will work closely with senior bankers and clients in the consumer and retail sectors. This role involves analyzing financial statements building financial models conducting market research and assisting with the preparation of client presentations and pitch books. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong analytical mindset exceptional communication skills and a deep interest in the consumer and retail industry. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of financial models and valuations

Conduct industry research and market analysis

Participate in the preparation of client presentations pitch books and other documents

Support senior bankers in the execution of M&A transactions and other advisory services

Work on clientrelated projects and assist in the deal process from start to finish
Skills:

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint

Strong interest in the consumer and retail industry
Education:

Currently enrolled in a toptier undergraduate or MBA program preferably with a focus in Finance Economics or a related field
Experience:

Previous internship or work experience in investment banking finance or consulting is preferred but not required
Salary Range:
$60000 $80000 per year (prorated for summer internship)
