Job Description
Alpinum Solutions is a leading provider of managed legal services in Switzerland Germany and Liechtenstein. For our latest mandate we are seeking an exceptional talent in the following field:
Position: Senior Compliance Officer
Sector: Banking
Start Date: January 2024
Duration: 3 months
Utilization: 80100%
Location: Basel

Tasks
- Monitor and investigate AntiMoney Laundering (AML) alerts to detect and prevent illicit activities
- Conduct thorough screening and background checks on potential clients to identify any adverse news sanctions or politically exposed persons (PEPs)
- Evaluate the risk profile of highrisk clients and transactions by analyzing their source of funds business activities and relationships
- Review and analyze client documentation including business contracts financial statements and legal agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare comprehensive Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports that highlight key findings risk assessments and recommendations for further action
Requirements
- Fluency in English and German
- Resident in Switzerland
- Min. 4 year PQE in the compliance field
- Completed legal degree and/or relevant compliance certification
