Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to apply quality engineering principles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize product design manufacturing and distribution processes. This role will involve coordinating and conducting complaint investigations and supporting changes in device manufacturing records (DMR/DHR) for clinical inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Quality Assurance Design Controls Risk Management and Statistical Techniques for New Product Development (NPD)
  • Investigate and resolve complex product quality and compliance issues
  • Execute change control activities to support innovation
  • Assist with design and development activities including testing and feasibility reviews
  • Participate in Project Risk Assessments and manage design verification testing
  • Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful product launch
  • Develop and validate product and manufacturing process improvements
  • Support risk management activities and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide training and documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer
  • Occasional travel up to 10%

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 2 years of experience in NPD Quality Engineering R&D or Manufacturing
  • Engineering experience in a highly regulated industry is essential
  • Preferred: Experience in medical devices design assurance and new product development (Class III)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Project
  • Experience in complaint coordination and CAPA/NCR management
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
