CK Group are recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor,
to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, from one of their sites - Stevenage, Ware, Worthing, Barnard Castle or Montrose, on a contract basis for 12 months.
Salary: Paying 17.75 to 29.84 per hour PAYE.
About the role: Responsible for delivering a high quality, reliable, evidence based, customer focused and consistent Occupational Health service across the UK GSK sites to meet the Occupational Health needs of the business.
Leading on important strategic and operational matters and a key decision maker for the UK function and global engagement as required.
Accountability and oversight of all UK Occupational Health policies and processes.
Responsibility for clinical service delivery and management of the OH (Occupational Health) team across the UK.
Responsibility for delivery on Quality and Governance(Q&G) within the UK Occupational Health Services at GSK. Manage and deliver fully on aligning to and remaining accredited with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine s industry standard of, Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Services (SEQOHS).
Produce and share meaningful Occupational Health Services data and metrics to key Site Stakeholders, each quarter, as well as other business partners, as required.
Your Background:
- Registered Nurse, NMC, Part 3.
- Post graduate Occupational Health qualification.
- MSc/BSc in Occupational Health /- safety management or related health studies.
- Relevant clinical and management expertise required to Lead and supervise staff and assess the health needs of the business.
- Previous management experience essential.
- Coaching and staff supervisory experience.
- Customer interface- such as training/presenting relevant health data.
- Skilled at high level audit on clinical performance and service delivery.
- The role requires leadership accountability and management of teams to ensure the OH Function delivers innovation, performance & trust.
- The individual will be required to be a strategic lead providing leadership, coaching and mentorship.
- Needs to communicate, engage, influence, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Excellent and wide-ranging level of IT knowledge, with a strong ability to be agile in the IT space embracing innovative technology
