Job Description
Job Title: Senior OFSAA Consultant BA / BSA
Location: Toronto (Hybrid Mandatory)
What are the top 3 skills required for this role
1. BASEL/Large Exposure experience with OFSAA
2. Regulatory Functional knowledge of both US and Canadian OSFI experience
3. OFSAA stack full end to end from data ingestion to regulatory reporting
Additional points:
OFSAA SQL / PLSQL Oracle database 19c SQL Developer
Strong experience in a financial services organization including Regulatory reporting & submissions risk management finance and technology.
In depth domain knowledge in Retail and Commercial Banking especially in Compliance Knowledge and understanding) of regulatory frameworks risk management principles within a financial services firm
Strong experience working with OFSAA modules OFSI FSDF CAP GL Recon specifically on implementing Basel 3 Large Exposure framework requirements
OSFI Regulatory knowledge CAD Retail product knowledge Risk knowledge
OSFI/DGS/GL Recon/CRA/OFSAA application experience DIH and Data Model expertise Strong requirements documentation experience. Strong data lineage and STTM experience. Basic understanding of accounting process and accounting events (skills to accommodate EBA)
Capture Reg Reporting business requirements specific to OFSAA calculations and transformation needs
Validate the OFSAA solution meets the functional requirements and regulatory standards
Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements.
Design and configure Oracle Financial Analytical Application modules for Basel Solution
Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between existing processes and to be processes
Design and configure Oracle Financial Analytical Application modules for Basel III Solution based on client requirements.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including technical consultants business analysts and project managers.
Develop functional and technical specifications test scenarios and test cases.
Assist in testing the configured OFSAA modules in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments.
Ensure accurate implementation of capital computation and risk management practices
Create Functional project documentation
Collaborate with technical teams to define data requirements and design data structures for the application.
Assist clients in user training and provide postimplementation support
Provide guidance and expertise on system enhancements and optimizations to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Conduct system configuration customization and data migration activities.
