Job Description

Job Title: Data Quality Specialist (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate data quality across various data sources and systems.
  • Perform regular data quality checks identifying inconsistencies duplicates and errors.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to assess data health and integrity.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards policies and procedures.
  • Implement data quality metrics and KPIs to track improvements and measure performance.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance and IT teams to ensure proper alignment of data quality initiatives.
  • Lead efforts for data cleaning correction and standardization across multiple systems.
  • Identify root causes of data quality issues and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the development of automated tools or scripts to streamline data quality processes.
  • Work closely with business units data engineers and data analysts to understand data requirements and resolve data issues.
  • Provide training and support to employees on data quality best practices and tools.
  • Partner with data stewards to ensure data quality processes align with business goals.
  • Prepare regular data quality reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Document data quality issues resolutions and procedures for future reference.
  • Track and communicate progress toward data quality improvement goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy security and regulatory standards.
  • Assess data quality risks and proactively manage issues to mitigate potential datarelated risks.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in data quality management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy consistency and reliability.
  • Participate in audits and assessments to ensure data quality compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field. A Masters degree or certifications in Data Management is a plus.
  • Proven experience (25 years) in data quality data governance or data management roles.
  • Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with data profiling data cleansing and data quality monitoring tools (e.g. Informatica Talend Trifacta or similar).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with data quality tools data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and data governance solutions.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python R) for data analysis and automation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in large data sets.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
