Job Description
Job Title: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Create modify and delete user identities in various systems (e.g. Active Directory cloud applications etc.).
- Ensure timely and accurate user provisioning and deprovisioning to maintain proper access control.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments for employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Implement rolebased access control (RBAC) least privilege access and segregation of duties (SoD) principles to secure access.
- Maintain and review access permissions to sensitive resources and applications to ensure only authorized users have access.
- Perform access certifications and periodic access reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Enforce password policies multifactor authentication (MFA) and other IAMrelated security controls.
- Monitor and respond to IAMrelated security incidents and alerts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR HIPAA and SOX by adhering to best practices for IAM.
- Manage and optimize IAM tools and platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory Azure AD Okta SailPoint or other IAM solutions.
- Administer and configure single signon (SSO) and federation services for both internal and external users.
- Automate repetitive IAM tasks using scripts and orchestration tools to improve efficiency.
- Provide support to users with issues related to account access password resets and access request approvals.
- Troubleshoot IAMrelated problems including login issues authentication failures and access rights discrepancies.
- Create and maintain IAMrelated documentation including user guides SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and technical documentation.
- Generate regular reports for audits and management on access rights policy violations and IAM system health.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in Identity and Access Management or related IT security fields.
- Experience with IAM systems and platforms (e.g. Active Directory Azure AD Okta SailPoint etc.).
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts such as SSO RBAC MFA Identity Federation and IAM governance.
- Handson experience with IAM technologies and tools (e.g. Active Directory LDAP SAML OAuth etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS Azure etc.) and integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms.
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 SOC 2).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot IAMrelated issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to interact with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Federal Experience is a plus. - Required Security clearance.
