Job Title: Scrum Master (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily standups sprint planning sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Ensure meetings are effective and timeboxed and ensure active participation from all team members.
- Enforce the principles and practices of Scrum to ensure team alignment and productivity.
- Guide the team in managing the product backlog ensuring it is prioritized and refined.
- Proactively identify and remove any blockers or challenges that may hinder the teams progress.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders to address issues and improve team performance.
- Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages open communication feedback and teamwork.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure that the backlog is welldefined and understood by the development team.
- Lead the team through retrospective meetings to reflect on sprint performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Encourage a culture of learning experimentation and iterative improvements.
- Mentor team members on agile principles and practices.
- Provide coaching on selforganization and crossfunctionality within the team.
- Maintain metrics (e.g. burndown charts velocity) to track the teams progress and provide insights for better decisionmaking.
- Report on sprint progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Help foster an agile mindset across the organization by advocating for best practices and agile principles.
- Support the wider team in the adoption of agile frameworks and continuous delivery processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in an Agile environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (e.g. PSM SAFe Scrum Master).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban etc.) and frameworks.
- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Trello).
- Excellent communication facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration resolve conflicts and build highperforming teams.
- Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe LeSS etc.).
- Experience working in a software development environment.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
