Job Title: Automotive Painter
Location: Ontario
Required hours: 4800 hours per year of Full time employment
We are looking for a talented Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team. This key role involves preparing vehicles for painting applying highquality finishes and ensuring that each job meets industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive painting techniques excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering topnotch results. Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by performing tasks such as sanding masking and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Mixing and amp; Application: Mix match and apply paint to vehicles based on manufacturer specifications using spray guns and other painting tools to achieve a smooth even finish.
Quality Control: Inspect completed paint jobs to ensure highquality standards consistency and an even finish. Address any imperfections or issues promptly.
Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment by following safety protocols and ensuring that paint and chemical materials are handled correctly.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure workflow is efficient and deadlines are met. Collaborate on larger projects to ensure timely completion.
Safety and amp; Environmental Compliance: Handle and dispose of paint and chemical materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
Ongoing Learning: Continuously improve your skills by staying up to date with the latest painting techniques tools and industry trends.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Proven experience as an automotive painter or in a similar role. A portfolio or examples of previous work is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of painting materials techniques and equipment particularly spray painting and the use of automotivegrade paints.
Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail to ensure flawless finishes and consistent results.
Physical Stamina and amp; Dexterity: Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods and using hand tools and spray equipment.
FastPaced Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate well within a team and take direction as needed.
