Job Description
Our client is looking for a creative and strategic Video Content Strategist to help shape the future of shortform video creation. In this role you will analyze trends from leading video platforms and editing tools transforming insights into innovative content presets and styles. You ll collaborate with design and development teams to create dynamic readytouse video effects and formats that resonate with a global youthdriven audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze content trends across shortform video platforms (TikTok Snap Instagram CapCut etc.) to identify popular themes and extract creative inspiration that can be turned into marketable video presets.
- Define develop and refine content presets (editing styles effects premade formats) working closely with designers and developers to launch track and optimize based on performance and data insights.
- Lead or contribute to the strategic direction for content preset modules developing actionable strategies to guide future product development.
- Source onboard and nurture a network of external content creators to build a community that enhances the diversity and quality of available video effects and formats.
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching emerging trends in video content creation and make recommendations to the team to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of digital content trends particularly within platforms like TikTok Snap Instagram and others popular with younger audiences. Able to identify platformspecific trends and emerging content opportunities.
- Passionate about video content creation and effects with expertise in at least one area such as highend aesthetics technical editing humor creativity or viral content formats.
- Handson experience with creating video presets or effects or a background in film video production or design with solid knowledge of various video editing styles and techniques.
- 2 years of experience in video content strategy or development with a proven track record of conceptualizing and producing engaging video presets.
- Bonus: Experience as a content creator or influencer on TikTok Snap Instagram etc.
- Must be able to qualify for a Chinese Work Permit which requires:
- A minimum of a Bachelors Degree.
- A minimum of two years of work experience postgraduation.
- A Clear NonCriminal Record to verify that there are no criminal records.
Additional Information:
- This role is based in Shenzhen Guangdong Province China.
- The client offers relocation assistance if required.
