Job Description
As a Collections Specialist you will play a crucial role in managing and recovering overdue accounts. You will work directly with customers to help them understand their situation negotiate payment plans and ultimately help them move in the direction of achieving financial security. Your ability to communicate effectively show empathy and persistently follow up will be key to your individual success.
Key Responsibilities
Effective Communication: Clearly and professionally communicate with customers to discuss their accounts payment options and any concerns they may have.
Negotiation Skills: Negotiate payment plans and settlements that are feasible for customers while meeting company objectives.
Persistence: Consistently follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and adherence to agreedupon plans.
Empathy: Understand and empathize with customers financial situations building trust and rapport to facilitate cooperative interactions.
Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions payment schedules and account statuses.
