Job Description

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Office ofInformation Technology (OIT) is seeking a qualified candidate for the Sr. SwiftMobile Application Developer position to join the agency based in AtlantaGeorgia.




Job Description:

As part of the Mobile team you will contribute to the app designand development for key projects in DHS. You will play a pivotal role indesigning building and maintaining highperformance userfriendly apps. Thisrole requires a deep understanding of Swift iOS frameworks and developmentbest practices. You will work closely with architects Sr. developersmanagers executives and other groups throughout the development process.

Architect and build robust scalable iOSapplications using Swift leveraging the latest iOS SDKs and frameworks.

Design and implement clean maintainable codewith a focus on performance optimization and efficient memory management.

Develop complex features including userinterfaces data handling networking and background processes.

Work closely with product managers designersand other stakeholders to understand requirements translate them intotechnical specifications and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Lead code reviews providing constructivefeedback to other developers on code quality design and maintainability.

Mentor and train junior developers sharingknowledge and expertise in Swift and iOS development.

Integrate thirdparty libraries APIs andservices as needed.

Stay updated on the latest iOS trendstechnologies and best practices to guide innovation within the team.

Troubleshoot and debug application issuesdelivering timely resolutions.

Document development processes technicaldesigns and updates.

Skills / Background Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or similar)

7 years in an iOS Mobile Developer role withexperience coding in Swift and ObjectiveC; understanding and integratingbackend services; consuming and producing service responses; and a strongportfolio of published apps.

Deep understanding of Swift syntaxobjectoriented programming principles and advanced features.

Thorough knowledge of iOS SDK UI frameworks(UIKit SwiftUI) Core Data networking and push notifications.

Experience working with RESTful APIs GraphQLand web services.

Experience with Blue Tooth low energy (BLE)plugin on iOS apps.

Proficiency in version control tools like Git buildand release management

Experience in using AWS and AWSrelatedtechnologies

Drives for results reliable and independentselfstarter; able to prioritize and complete projects on time; works well in ateam collaborative environment

Continuous learner takes initiative andunderstands what it takes to get outstanding customer satisfaction.
