Python FullStack Developer (g/n)

Python FullStack Developer (m/f/d)
fulltime permanent employment
This position owner will work closely with the Team leader Automatization and Digitalization inside the Tracker Simulation department. Location: Office in Madrid Spain
Tasks
How you can be involved at Ideematec:
Develop endtoend software applications for solar tracker simulation with the objective to highspeed design workflows.
- Migrate existing engineering tools to a fully Pythonbased desktop application.
- Create database schemas that support business processes
- Develop robust FrontEnd (GUI) and BackEnd systems
- Maintain and update existing databases.
- Document software solutions and processes
- Create user manuals
- Maintain and update existing engineering tools according to latest status of design guidelines based on national standards and customer requirements
Requirements
Requirements and experiences we are looking for:
Have a degree in big data science informatics computational science or a comparable proven IT education with 3 years of professional experience (bachelor master or higher)
Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
Solid experience with Python:
Being proficiency in Python language is a must
Proven experience with framework Qt for buildings GUIs:
Tools: QtDesigner/QtCreator
Bindings: PyQt/PySide
Experience with database systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB)
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git)
Feel comfortable speaking and writing Spanish and English to both executives and technical stakeholders
Own strong coordination skills as well as very good timemanagement
Being an outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal intercultural skills and can do attitude
Other desirable competences for the position:
Experience with C language
Knowledge about HTML CSS and JavaScript
Have a good knowledge of mechanical engineering desirable
Previous experience in solar sector
German language
