Job Description
Job Title: Employment Litigation Associate
Location:California (Remote)
Type: FullTime Employment (Remote)
Our firms Labor and Employment Practice Group seeks an Employment Litigation Associate with 4 to 7 years of litigation experience to join our team. The successful candidate will work on complex labor and employment matters including handling discovery conducting witness interviews and performing legal research and writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings discovery depositions and trial preparation.
- Conduct witness interviews and gather evidence for case development.
- Draft and review legal documents including motions briefs and memoranda.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on labor and employment issues.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to achieve favorable case outcomes.
- Stay current on developments in labor and employment law to ensure compliance and provide effective representation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar.
- 4 to 7 years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate environment.
- Labor and employment law experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in depositions and trial preparation is an advantage.
- Strong research analytical and legal writing skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to represent clients persuasively.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
