We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing a variety of laboratory tests ensuring the accurate and timely processing of specimens and providing reliable results for patient diagnosis and treatment. The MLS will work in a fastpaced laboratory ensuring adherence to quality control safety protocols and regulatory standards.

• Perform laboratory tests on patient specimens in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Analyze test results ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure the proper handling labeling and storage of specimens.
• Prepare and process samples for microbiological hematological chemical and serological testing.
• Maintain and update patient records and test results in the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Adhere to safety standards quality control guidelines and infection control protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring laboratory technicians and other staff as needed.
• Participate in laboratory quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of laboratory procedures technologies and advancements.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist.
• Prior experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing in microbiology hematology chemistry and immunology.
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and diagnostic equipment.

• Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• National certification (ASCP AMT or equivalent) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Active state licensure in the applicable state if required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
