Job Description
Financial Reporting Specialist Mining Industry
Location: Cape Town South Africa
Our client in the mining industry is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team. This role requires expertise in financial reporting and analysis with a willingness to travel across Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
- Consolidation: Manage financial consolidation processes across multiple operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting meets legal and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Provide actionable insights from financial data to support decisionmaking.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field (CPA or CA preferred).
- 7 years of experience in financial reporting preferably within the mining sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial consolidation.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.
