Job Description
Asset Manager Renewable Energy
Location: Cape Town South Africa
Our Client is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee renewable energy assets across subSaharan Africa. You will drive asset performance manage financial and operational metrics and ensure compliance with commercial regulatory and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of power plants ensuring alignment with financial and operational targets.
- Financial Oversight: Update financial models track KPIs and analyze data using Power BI.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to agreements and provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.
- Revenue Optimization: Monitor energy production resolve anomalies and manage timely revenue collection.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with lenders contractors and internal teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance Business Science or related field.
- 5 years in asset management project finance or renewable energy operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and financial modelling.
Education
Bachelor s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); advanced degree preferred.
