Position: OB/GYN Physician
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate OB/GYN Physician to join our expanding healthcare team. In this role you will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care perform a variety of officebased procedures and offer holistic patientcentered treatment to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Perform routine gynecological exams including Pap smears breast exams and pelvic exams.
Provide prenatal care including regular checkups ultrasounds and patient education on pregnancy.
Manage gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders menopause and infections.
Offer family planning services including contraceptive counseling and IUD and Nexplanon procedures.
Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and other reproductive health concerns.
Provide support and management for patients dealing with infertility and other reproductive challenges.
Procedures:
Perform colposcopy for cervical vaginal and vulvar exams with biopsies if necessary.
Conduct endometrial biopsies for diagnostic purposes.
Perform hysteroscopy for uterine examinations addressing issues like polyps and fibroids.
Carry out LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) to remove abnormal cervical tissue.
Perform Dilation and Curettage (D&C) for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
Conduct Nexplanon and IUD insertions/removals for longterm contraception.
Use cryotherapy to treat abnormal cervical cells.
Manage Bartholins cyst treatment through incision and drainage or marsupialization.
Perform and interpret both gynecological and obstetric ultrasounds.
Fit pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse or incontinence management.
Conduct vulvar biopsies for diagnostic purposes.
Assess uterine cavity and fallopian tube patency through hysterosalpingography (HSG).
Patient Education & Counseling:
Educate patients on reproductive health contraception options pregnancy and menopause.
Provide emotional support and counseling for fertility issues and gynecological conditions.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate uptodate patient records in accordance with clinic policies.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed of advancements in OB/GYN care.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valid state medical license.
Proven experience in OB/GYN practice with proficiency in outpatient procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamoriented collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing complex gynecological conditions.
