Job Description

Job Quick Facts:

Facility Location: Brighton MI

Service Setting: Inpatient

Reason For Coverage: Supplemental

Coverage Period: Apr 1 2025 Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Shift Schedule: 40 hrs/week; 7a3p (ish or flexible)

57 shifts/week including weekends (FT need)

Patient Volume: 1220 (IP visits)

Patient Demographics: 18 yrs old

Physicians in Practice: 2 Psychiatrists

Support Staff: 1 PRN APP & 1 coming in Feb

Specialty Backup:

Psychologists: none but masterlevel social workers & licensed counselors are available.

Required Procedures/Skills:

Treatment Disorders: Anxiety Affective ADD/ADHD Personality Psychotic Organic disorders

Familiarity with: Involuntary Commitments Pharmacotherapy

Must believe addiction is a disease

Must be a traumainformed provider

No. of Beds: 63 (highly variable)

EMR: CDHR (proprietary system; training required)

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MI License or IMLC

BC in Preventative or Addiction Med (FM/IM is acceptable if BE in Addiction Med)

BLS

Clean record

Local (highly preferred)
