About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Channel Sales Manager to join our office automation business in Gauteng. This role focuses on building managing and optimizing strategic partnerships with channel partners to drive sales growth expand market presence and achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in channel sales deep knowledge of the office automation industry and exceptional relationshipbuilding skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Channel Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy tailored to the Gauteng market.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
- Evaluate partner performance establish goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Sales Leadership:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective channel partner collaboration.
- Support partners in lead generation sales pipeline management and deal closure.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to partners.
- Market Development:
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners to penetrate untapped markets and expand product reach.
- Drive partner engagement in promotional activities campaigns and training programs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing technical and operations) to align channel strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure seamless communication between partners and internal teams to address challenges and optimize outcomes.
- Reporting and Insights:
- Maintain accurate sales records and produce regular reports on partner performance and market trends.
- Use datadriven insights to recommend actionable strategies for enhancing channel sales performance.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 710 years in channel sales with at least 5 years in a senior role within the office automation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partnerships.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
