Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the technical operations of our vessels including maintenance repairs and inspections.

Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules to ensure vessels are kept in optimal condition.

Monitor vessel performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Manage the procurement of spare parts and equipment.

Provide technical support and guidance to crew members.

Coordinate with vessel owners and other stakeholders to address any technical issues.

Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all safety procedures are followed.

Keep accurate records and reports of all technical operations.

Stay uptodate with industry developments and implement best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical supervisory role in the maritime industry.

Strong knowledge of vessel operations maintenance and repair.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.

Proficient in using computer software and programs.

Willingness to travel and work on board vessels when necessary.

Valid certifications and licenses as required by the industry.
