Eldercare provider

We are now seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable caregiver who can empathetically assist the elderly with their daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help others and a passion for caring for the elderly.

Your responsibilities as a caregiver include assisting the elderly with personal care activities such as getting dressed taking a bath meal planning reminding them to take their medications and light housekeeping.

Main Responsibilities:

It is important to provide seniors with compassionate oneonone support and care.

In accordance with dietary recommendations make and serve nutritious snacks and meals.

Make sure to give the prescribed medications at the exact times.

As needed assistance with mobility and transfers

Maintain vigilance over the elderly persons health and report any changes to the appropriate parties.

Be there for the elderly and involve them in meaningful social events.

The living quarters of the old person should be kept clean and safe.

What is needed:

Relevant work history including time spent caring for patients

A kind and caring personality along with a genuine desire to help others

Superb communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to handle challenging situations in a professional and compassionate manner

A familiarity with standard practices and procedures for providing care

Would be an asset to have first aid and cardiology certifications.

Successfully completing a secondary education program
