Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for an Applicative SQL Server DBA with proven experience in system design and a strong understanding of database systems to join our Data Science and Business Insights Department. This team plays a critical role in financial reporting and business decisionmaking processes including compliance with complex financial requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain complex financial reporting solutions (e.g. complex queries).
- Troubleshoot data issues validate result sets and deliver highquality adhoc reports (SSRS) and analyses within tight deadlines.
- Design develop and maintain data loading processes from external heterogeneous sources using PowerShell and SQL scripts.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years as a SQL Server DBA.
- Skills:
- Ability to design and implement business processes into efficient functional code.
- Strong understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.
- Proficient in database design implementation troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Skilled in Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Expertise in operational automation using scripts.
- Work Style:
- Able to multitask and work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- High standards for design documentation and testing.
Advantages (Preferred Qualifications)
- Familiarity with financial terms and processes.
- Experience with AWS.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Knowledge of Snowflake.
