Job Description
Seeking an experienced Board Eligible/Board Certified OB (with GYN) Hospitalist to join our OB Emergency Department team at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital in Salinas CA ranked in the top 10 best places to live in California!
Job Description:
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months worth of case logs from a hospital setting.
- 7.5 shifts per month (2190 annually) is fulltime.
- Position includes GYN patients/procedures
- Responsibilities include OB ED coverage emergencies as well as OB triage patient evaluation and management surgical assists fetal monitoring and a low volume of delivery attendance for community OBs
- Provide 24hour inhouse coverage
- Labor and delivery facility has nine private suites
- MFM specialists and pediatric subspecialty support
- Level III NICU is operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital Stanford
- Accepting experienced and new graduate candidates (through 2025 TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification)
- This is a permanent fulltime position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
- Not open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment
- Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Not accepting visa candidates

Requirement description :
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN REQUIRED
- Active CA license (or in process) REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months worth of case logs from a hospital setting. REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Does the provider require visa support J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) REQUIRED
