Job Overview:
The Digital Copy Editor will be responsible for reviewing editing and optimizing digital content for various online channels including websites blogs social media and email campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of digital media SEO best practices and the ability to ensure clarity and consistency across all content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Editing: Review and edit digital content for grammar punctuation style and clarity ensuring that it meets the companys quality standards
- SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines incorporating relevant keywords and ensuring adherence to SEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all digital content aligns with the brands voice style and messaging maintaining consistency across all platforms
- FactChecking: Verify the accuracy of information and sources used in digital content ensuring credibility and trustworthiness
- Collaboration: Work closely with writers content creators and marketing teams to provide constructive feedback and guidance during the content development process
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics using insights to refine editing strategies and enhance future content quality
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in English Communications Journalism Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in digital copy editing or content creation preferably in a digital media or marketing environment
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail and a passion for highquality content
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies
