We are looking to hire a Software Engineer to work with one of our Fortune 30 clients in the Retail/Building Materials industry. This engineer will have the opportunity to support a highly visible order processing/checkout application that processes $16B in products annually. You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers of all experience levels and be a key part of the application design and development. This will be a heavy development role so technologists are urged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
Working within a system built within Java framework and React/Redux
50% Delivery and Execution Develops tests deploys and maintains software with a clear understanding of the value the software is to provide; Takes a broad view when approaching issues; Consistently achieves results even under tough circumstances; Develops test suites (functional destructive etc) to enable success rapid deployment of code to production.
10% Learns and Grows Actively seeks ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.
20% Plans and Aligns Creates new and better ways for the organization to be successful; Delivers multimode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; Works the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer ready easy to understand and testable; Collaborates with other team members in agile processes.
20% Supports and Enables Fields questions from product and engineering teams; Helps provide guidance on modern software development frameworks and leads technical discussions; Notes gaps on the team and provides suggestions for changes to make the team more productive.
Requirements
2 years of relevant work experience
Java/Spring Boot framework and React/Redux
Proficient in a frontend technology and framework such as HTML CSS JavaScript ReactJS
Proficient in a cloud computing platform (GCP) and the associated automation patterns they provide
Proficient in modern microservicebased architectures and methodologies
Proficient in successful application of design patterns
Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful web services
