Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Property Manager to take charge of the daytoday management of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in property management with a focus on delivering excellent service and ensuring the wellbeing of our residents.
Primary Responsibilities:
Property Operations:
Oversee the daily functioning of a multifamily residential community ensuring a topnotch living experience for all residents.
Implement and streamline processes for rent collection lease management and property maintenance.
Monitor property finances prepare regular budget reports and ensure operations remain within budget while achieving profitability.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations including federal state and local housing policies.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and guide a team of property management staff fostering an environment of professional growth and development.
Conduct regular meetings to communicate organizational goals priorities and operational expectations.
Set clear performance objectives for staff offering evaluations and constructive feedback to drive improvement.
Collaborate with HR to recruit onboard and retain top talent for the property management team.
Resident Engagement and Community Building:
Build strong positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns and creating a welcoming community atmosphere.
Plan and execute resident events and activities that encourage engagement and community involvement.
Maintain a clean safe and inviting environment for all residents.
Partner with local businesses and service providers to enhance the overall resident experience.
Marketing and Business Growth:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents through both digital and community outreach efforts.
Foster partnerships with local businesses and organizations to increase property visibility and occupancy rates.
Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify trends and areas for improvement ensuring the property remains competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Business Administration Property Management or a related field is preferred though not required.
Previous experience in property management particularly within multifamily housing is highly preferred.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of managing teams and resolving conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in property management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
