The Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting and contributing to the daily operations of the Payables Account Reconciliation and Vendor Audit. Duties include ownership of account payable and activities in a high volume goaloriented team.
Job Duties
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving processing verifying and reconciling invoices.
Charges expenses to GL accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities verifying federal id numbers scheduling and preparing checks and resolving purchase order contract invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation.
Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Initiate monthly bank reconciliations including matching vendor payments and reconciling variances/discrepancies.

Education and Experience
Must have High School Diploma/GED
Equivalent to specialized study or training in office techniques such as collections customer service and accounting.
6 months of accounting accounts payable accounts receivable or equivalent
