We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Production Manager to join our client a leading manufacturer in the food and beverage industry. The Production Manager will oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency product quality and adherence to safety standards. This role is pivotal in driving productivity managing teams and delivering consistent performance in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily production schedules ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing of food and beverage products.
- Supervise and manage production staff including training mentoring and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
- Implement and monitor quality control standards to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (FDA HACCP) and company policies.
- Analyze production processes identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing techniques to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies for uninterrupted production.
- Prepare and analyze production reports KPIs and operational data to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with the R&D quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Monitor and control production costs ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Food Science Engineering Business or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of experience in production management within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Indepth knowledge of food manufacturing processes quality standards (HACCP GMP) and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating teams in highpressure environments.
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools (e.g. ERP SAP).
Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in Business Administration or Industrial Management.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with automated food production systems and machinery.
