Job Description
Position Title: SCCM Engineer(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Plan design and implement SCCM infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
- Configure and manage SCCM hierarchies sites and site systems.
- Package test and deploy software and applications across enduser devices.
- Automate application delivery using SCCM and Intune (if applicable).
- Manage and deploy Windows updates security patches and thirdparty software updates.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
- Monitor and maintain the health of all endpoints including desktops laptops and servers.
- Configure and enforce device security policies using SCCM.
- Monitor SCCM infrastructure performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring issues.
- Generate and analyze custom SCCM reports for hardware and software inventory.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations procedures and change requests.
- Work closely with IT support teams application owners and other stakeholders to meet deployment and configuration requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Ensure SCCM implementations align with organizational security policies.
- Address compliance and audit requirements related to system configurations.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Handson experience managing SCCM infrastructure.
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell VBScript or similar tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or comanagement setups (preferred).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and group policies.
- Experience with SQL for reporting and database management.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Expert
- ITIL Certification (optional but beneficial)
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
