Job Description
Position Title: SOA Systems Engineer (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SOAbased solutions including service orchestration governance and integration with various systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable and secure enterprise service buses (ESB) and middleware solutions.
- Collaborate with development infrastructure and operations teams to integrate systems and applications using SOA principles.
- Ensure seamless communication and data exchange across heterogeneous platforms.
- Establish and enforce SOA governance policies standards and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize service performance ensuring reliability and compliance with organizational requirements.
- Provide support for SOA systems troubleshooting issues related to services APIs and middleware.
- Implement enhancements and resolve defects in existing SOA implementations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for SOA designs processes and configurations.
- Implement security protocols and standards to protect service interactions.
- Set up monitoring tools to ensure high availability and detect performance issues.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SOA Engineer or similar role in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of SOA principles patterns and technologies.
- Handson experience with ESB platforms (e.g. MuleSoft Oracle Service Bus Apache Camel TIBCO).
- Proficiency in developing and managing APIs using RESTful and SOAP standards.
- Experience with XML JSON WSDL and related technologies.
- Experience with middleware platforms and tools (e.g. IBM WebSphere Apache Kafka).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS) and containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth SAML and WSSecurity.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
