Job Description

Northwest Partners is seeking an experienced SIEM Specialist to collaborate on a project with one of our premier clients in the technology industry. Applicants must be able to work for any U.S. employer without additional work visa sponsorship.

What YOU will do

  • Design implement and configure Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions including Splunk QRadar Sumo Logic and Saviynt to enhance the organizations security posture.
  • Develop and finetune correlation rules dashboards and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents effectively.
  • Perform comprehensive log analysis to identify investigate and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain and optimize SIEM performance in largescale deployments ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SIEM solutions with other security tools and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends threats and technologies to continuously improve SIEM capabilities.

What YOU will bring us

  • Proven handson experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk QRadar Sumo Logic or Saviynt.
  • Strong knowledge of log formats parsing techniques and security event correlation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience in developing and tuning SIEM content including correlation rules reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with network protocols intrusion detection systems and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to handle complex security incidents.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate security issues and collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
