Position Summary:
- Performs repetitive mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Successfully completes all sitespecific training regarding safety and quality.
- Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
- Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
- May assemble minor variations of inhouse standard products.
- Follows clear assembly/test instructions e.g. color code pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
- Completes required documentation related to production.
- Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
- Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
- Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
Position Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge & Experience
- Required: Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience high school/tech school coursework hobbies etc.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit stand hear and see on a constant basis.
Must be able to walk write and type on a frequent basis.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Must be able to bend carry reach push and pull on an occasional basis.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
Work surfaces may include concrete.
