Job Description

Position: Applications System Analyst
Location: Raleigh NC (27601)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Applications System Analyst to support Medicaid/HIE projects ensuring they progress within budget and scope. The ideal candidate will collaborate with external partners to enhance population health outcomes in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement quality health services.
  • Analyze clinical data and develop clinical workflows.
  • Implement data quality best practices and governance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on health information exchange standards.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in SQL queries and BI dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical coding systems (CPT LOINC ICD10).
  • Experience with ETL techniques and data quality management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Project Visio Excel PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of relational databases.
