Job Description
Position: PHP and WordPress Developer
Location: Raleigh NC (27601)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PHP and WordPress Developer to restore and stabilize the NC Museum of Natural Sciences website. The ideal candidate will diagnose issues restore access and provide shortterm maintenance recommendations to ensure smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restore website access and functionality particularly the WordPress login.
- Diagnose and repair issues affecting static page edits.
- Identify and fix problematic custom PHP code and outdated plugins.
- Support content management with minor updates for improved usability.
- Document repairs and provide maintenance recommendations for the team.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with PHP Development (5 years)
- Proficiency in WordPress Development (5 years)
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing WordPress login issues (5 years)
- Ability to restore administrative and content management access (5 years)
- Familiarity with legacy configurations and website stability enhancements (5 years)
