Job Description

Position: SAS Programmer Analyst
Location: Richmond VA (23219)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAS Programmer Analyst to support Medicaid Care Management and Encounter Processing Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS Enterprise Guide and visual analytics with the ability to design data conversion strategies and develop realtime reporting solutions. This role requires onsite presence for the first month with some flexibility for remote work thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify data sources and elements to meet business requirements.
  • Create automated data extracts and reporting solutions.
  • Design develop and test complex solutions that meet user needs.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders across various levels.
  • Maintain documentation and provide accurate project estimates.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years with SAS Enterprise Guide and data visualization.
  • Proficient in programming with SAS R and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle DB2 and MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and process automation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GIT workflows.
