Job Description
Title : Linux Engineer
Location: Westerville OH (onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Experience and Qualification:
- The Linux Platform Engineer will provide Level 3 RedHat Linux engineering expertise in a hybrid cloud environment.
- With at least 5 years of experience that focuses on least privilege principles best practice vulnerability remediations and OS uplift in an N1 environment.
- This role will provide design implementation and escalation support services for the Linux environmentacross the enterprise.
- The Linux Platform Engineer will support and deliver the strategic planning execution and reporting of infrastructure lifecycle initiatives.
- Within our customeroriented IT organization youll develop a deep understanding of our customers our technology and the culture in which we operate.
- The Linux Platform Engineer will plan and implement and appropriately complete assigned project initiatives along with proactive lifecycle support problem resolution and
- change request activities as well as act as an escalation for Level 2 support cases.
- The Linux Platform Engineer will apply new solutions through research and collaboration within and across IT
- teams.
- RedHat Enterprise Linux engineering management and delivery
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or equivalent hyper converged hosting environment
