Job Description
Job Title: QA Analyst Insurance or Financial
Primary Location: Hybrid 2 days in the office. Open to any of the following locations Cedar Rapids or Des Moines IA Rosemont IL or Baton Rouge LA.
Position Type: Direct Hire Interview Process FIRST INTERVIEW IS INPERSON/ONSITE at the Company location that the candidate is local to!
Base Salary plus bonus 100K to 120K depending on experience
Overview
QA Analyst. This is a direct hire hybrid role open to candidates in the listed locations above.
We are seeking a dynamic QA Analyst for this new opportunity with our premier client. The QA Analyst will oversee the testing phase of the production process to ensure final deliverables meet company standards.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
- Mid to Senior level experience as a QA Analyst within the financial industry. Insurance industry is highly preferred!
- Must be able to speak to experience designing writing executing test plans cases scenarios and scripts.
- Experience executing various testing strategies including but not limited to functional testing values testing regression testing black/white/grey box testing smoke testing and automated testing.
- Experience documenting system and product defects and validating postdefect resolutions.
- Experience creating and maintaining QA artifacts.
- Communicate the status of ongoing work internally within the team and externally with clients where applicable.
- Experience in the Insurance Industry specifically with Policy Admin Systems.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and concepts preferred.
- Experience working in Azure DevOps preferred.
- Ability to collaborate / mentor others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to effectively balance deadlines with the need for efficient and effective solutions that have an eye to the future.
