Job Description
Title: Shipside Operations Specialist 2
Location: San Antonio TX
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: First
Start Time: 6:00 AM
End Time: 2:30 PM
Job Description:
- Assist with activities across limited functions to coordinate resolution of emergent shipside issues in support of specific operations.
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results. Assist team members in implementing strategies and plans. Assist with updating tracking and visibility tools.
- Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
- Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts materials and tools to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
- Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinates with various functions to set priorities expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Works under general supervision.
BASIC SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Boeing experience required.
- Experience with the following systems: Velocity REDARS Engineering Information Delivery Product Standards Data System (PSDS) Integration Visualization Tool (IVT)
- 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- 1 years of experience w/operations analysis.
- 1 years of experience w/root cause analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Project Management
