Job Description
As a Design Engineer you will be working in close coordination with the design team and client. Your role and responsibilities will be:
- Should be able to do electrical load analysis single line diagrams material takeoff list short circuit calculations etc.
- Preparation of electrical design drawings following Class Rules and regulations.
- Producing electrical production and installation drawings like cables and cable tray routing etc.
- Inspection on board vessel or assemblies for preparation verification or improvement.
- Identification of changes in client provided drawings and documents preparation markups for technical queries and variation orders as and when required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Section Head /TL/ Manager.
- Willing to relocate on client site either domestic or International on short notice.
- Any other associated task or responsibilities assigned from time to time by the organization.
Job Requirements:
- You are a graduate in electrical or equivalent with minimum relevant industry work experience of 6 to 12 Months.
- You have working experience in 3D ship design software like Aveva Marine Cadmatic and Ship Constructoretc.
- Prior experience in the marine electrical design field is preferred
- You have technical knowledge of electrical installation control and communication equipment
- You have good communication skills and enjoy helping customers.
- You have minute attention to detail and seek perfection in your work.
- You will be willing to continue to develop your technical knowledge and skills.
- You are ready to serve minimum service commitment of 2 years in our company.
