Job Description
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of English Language Learners (ELLs) and aligned with state and school standards.
- Provide focused instruction in small groups and oneonone settings to enhance speaking listening reading and writing skills.
- Partner with classroom teachers to integrate language development into the broader curriculum seamlessly.
- Foster an inclusive encouraging classroom environment that supports student growth and motivation.
- Regularly assess student progress refining your strategies to promote consistent language improvement.
Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement.
- Bachelors degree in Education TESOL or related field (Master s degree is a plus).
- Experience working with English Language Learners in a school setting is preferred.
