Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Entry) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

EXPERIENCE: 24 Years of related working experience

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Degree in IT or similar
- Testing experience using methods and tools.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Work experience and skills with SAP Modules FI/CO especially Accounts Payables
- Work experience in Test automation (Tosca).
- Work experience with tools such as XRay JIRA Confluence.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- Communication and strategic skills to be able to integrate ZA Hub and industry testing best practices and processes for the whole department

ADVANTAGEOUS
- High level of attention to detail required for quality assurance on products used by commercial external customers
- A strong team player that has a high level of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to work interdependently as well and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality

- Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required

ROLE:
- Analyse a business process from start to finish.
- Perform automated (nonfunctional) and manual (functional) testing.
- Create maintain and document Testing Processes and Procedures
- Implement testing best practices from the ZA IT Hub and the industry across the department
- Compile and maintain test cases around business requirements.
- Preparation and communication of Test reports during test execution (SIT and UAT) and distribute the results
- Plan organize and support test case creation and adaptation
- Create test data with reflecting various scenarios.
- Ability and willingness to transfer knowledge to fellow colleagues and users when required
- Compiling of user and operational manuals
- Coordination with the development team including external development teams
- Planning and monitoring
- Translating and simplifying requirements
- Requirements and defect analysis
- Assist with identification and management of risks
