Job Description
Position Title: Business Intelligence Developer(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Gather and understand business requirements to design and develop BI solutions.
- Design develop and maintain dashboards reports and visualizations.
- Translate complex data into meaningful and easytounderstand formats for business stakeholders.
- Design and implement Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes to ensure data is correctly integrated into data warehouses.
- Perform data cleansing transformation and aggregation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Build and maintain data models including dimensional models and relational schemas to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve manipulate and analyze data.
- Work closely with business analysts data architects and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs and data requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in BI tools and methodologies to nontechnical users.
- Ensure the efficient storage retrieval and processing of data in databases.
- Monitor and optimize database performance and query execution times.
- Stay current with emerging BI technologies and best practices.
- Proactively suggest improvements for BI solutions to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar IT role.
- Proficiency in system analysis database management and system design tools. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java Python) database management systems (e.g. SQL Oracle) and project management software (e.g. JIRA MS Project).
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g. TOGAF ITIL CBAP).
- Experience with ERP systems cloud computing or enterprise systems integration.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
