Job Description

Job Title: Help Desk Technician (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to help desk tickets emails phone calls or inperson inquiries to provide firstlevel technical support.
  • Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues for endusers.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or IT administrators when necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on computers printers and other devices.
  • Assist in the setup configuration and deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and tools.
  • Educate users on basic IT processes applications and best practices.
  • Create and update documentation for common technical issues and their solutions.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity measures such as password policies and phishing prevention.
  • Monitor system performance and uptime; report any anomalies or recurring issues.
  • Log all support interactions resolutions and system changes in the help desk system.
  • Analyze support trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with other IT team members to ensure efficient operation of the organizations IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

    Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proficiency in Windows Mac OS and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware (PCs printers peripherals) and software applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles (DNS DHCP TCP/IP).
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Zendesk is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
  • Patience and a customerfocused attitude.
  • CompTIA A
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
